The Duskblade Rebellion

Third Age (8880)

A splinter group known as the Duskblades, led by the enigmatic mage Rylan Darkthorn, openly defied the authority of the Ivory Circle and the Magelords. The Duskblade Rebellion sought to practice forbidden magics, merging shadow and blood magic to create potent, unpredictable spells. This rebellion challenged established arcane laws and drew support from disenfranchised mages who felt restricted by the rigid rules of the Codex Arcanum.
