The Betrayal at Silvermark

During a crucial gathering of resistance leaders at Silvermark Keep, one of Malachor's spies, a former Red Rebellion commander named Jarek Windstalker, betrayed them. Jarek secretly communicated the location of the meeting to Malachor's forces, allowing them to launch a surprise attack. The battle that ensued shattered the resistance leadership, and the surviving rebels were forced to flee, scattering across Thaloria with little organization. This betrayal became a symbol of the price of mistrust and desperation.
