The Founding of the Sapphire Alliance

In response to rising tensions between water and fire dragon dynasties, Marelia's descendants and their trusted kobold allies established the Sapphire Alliance, a coalition of water dragons and coastal kobold clans. This alliance aimed to protect shared resources and strengthen the naval power of the water court. It symbolized the first major coalition that included kobolds as trusted partners rather than mere servants, fostering advancements in shipbuilding, aquaculture, and coastal defenses.
