Their ambition was fueled by ancient texts discovered during the Riftwatch Campaign that spoke of lost powers. The rebellion was quelled by the combined efforts of the Order of the Eternal Flame and dragon-led forces from the Twilight Courts, but it exposed lingering desires for power and hinted at the volatility of arcane discovery.
