Oracles, seers, and diviners across the realm lost their powers, unable to see or sense the threads of fate. This “silence” led to confusion and despair, as those who had relied on visions or omens to navigate Malachor’s oppressive world found themselves completely blind to the future. The Silence seemed to be Malachor’s doing, a powerful curse that severed Thaloria’s connection to foresight and removed any hope that a destined hero might rise.
