Comprised of individuals who had lost everything and operated with a willingness to use dark, even forbidden, magics, the Shadowborn believed that only by wielding Malachor's own power could they eventually defeat him. They embraced shadow magic, illusion, and necromancy as tools for rebellion, while operating in the most secretive of ways.
