Ironspire, a once-thriving mining city in the north, fell under Malachor's attention due to the valuable metal veins beneath it. Malachor's forces enslaved the population and forced them to work day and night, extracting metals and minerals for his dark forges. The mass enslavement and the horrors of forced labor became known as the Reaping of Ironspire. Most of the population eventually perished under grueling conditions, and the city's mines were exhausted, leaving only a hollowed-out ruin as a testament to Malachor's greed and cruelty.
