In a devastating blow to the Fourfold Flame, Malachor’s forces discovered their hidden base, Starhold, located deep within the Blighted Grove. Led by Vorath Soulrender, Malachor’s undead general, the assault on Starhold was brutal. Though the defenders held out valiantly, the base was ultimately destroyed, and many leaders of the Fourfold Flame were captured or slain. The Shattering of Starhold scattered the alliance, marking the end of their coordinated efforts and cementing Malachor’s unyielding grip on Thaloria.
