Tensions boiled over within the Iron Conclave as a militant faction of kobolds known as the Shadowclaws revolted, seeking to overthrow established leadership and form their own power base. Trained in the arts of shadow magic and guerrilla tactics, the Shadowclaws conducted coordinated strikes that shook the Iron Conclave to its core. The uprising was eventually quelled, but not without leaving scars that fractured the unity of kobold society and changed the way kobold factions interacted with each other and with dragons.
