The Forgefall Calamity

First Age (8780)

An accident within the Elemental Golem Forge caused by tampering with the Dawnshard led to the catastrophic event known as the Forgefall Calamity. The forge unleashed golems that became uncontrollable, infused with chaotic energy that turned them into berserkers. These rogue golems laid waste to parts of Aeloria and the surrounding lands before they were finally subdued. The calamity sowed distrust between the elemental courts and Primarin society, leading to a temporary ban on using relics within the mortal cities.
