The Stormforged Siege

Third Age (14810)

A catastrophic siege led by Stormforged, a breakaway faction of radical dwarven rune-mages and human elementalists, brought chaos to Stonehall. They used their knowledge of combined elemental magic and rune-craft to forge powerful constructs and weapons capable of laying waste to entire cities. The siege ended in a bloody stalemate with the Gilded Blades and allied forces, but it left Stonehall weakened and wary of further internal rebellion.
