A significant breakthrough occurred when fire and water forces successfully merged their essences into the first Sentient Steam Elementals, creatures capable of wielding both the fury of flame and the adaptability of water. This experiment, initiated by Syrilla, the Flame Tide, was seen as a symbol of power and peace between the realms of fire and water. The result was an increase in cooperation between elemental factions and new, combined creations that bore unique traits.
