The Stoneclaw kobold clan, which had long served under the earth dragon Drak'Thar's descendants, staged an unprecedented rebellion. Tired of servitude and emboldened by newfound tactics and weaponry, they fought for their independence. The rebellion was quashed after a fierce and costly battle, but it marked the first time kobolds openly defied their dragon overlords on such a scale. This event left an impact on both dragons and kobolds, planting the seeds of fear and respect between the two groups.
