Early in the seventh century, a hidden sanctuary was discovered deep within the ruins of an ancient elven city, known as the Cradle of Forgotten Songs. This enchanted site was imbued with residual magic from a time before Malachor’s rule, and when activated, it played haunting melodies that had the power to soothe corrupted lands and calm the restless undead. Small groups of druids and bards began gathering at the Cradle to study its secrets, seeking ways to use its melodies as a form of quiet rebellion against Malachor’s darkness.
