During this time, arcane energies surged uncontrollably, and planar rifts spontaneously opened across the land, releasing strange beings and causing widespread panic. The elves and the Ivory Circle worked tirelessly to contain the rifts, but the event left Thaloria changed, with leyline nodes permanently altered and whispers of dark omens spreading among scholars and seers.
