In a bid to resolve the ongoing discord among the races and factions, leaders convened at the Shattered Summit, an ancient meeting ground atop the Throne of Storms. What began as a hopeful attempt at unity quickly devolved into chaos when rogue members of the Shadow Vanguard attacked, disrupting the discussions and assassinating key leaders. This betrayal fractured trust between the races and undermined efforts at cooperation, leading to a new era of suspicion and defensive posturing.
