A surge of wild magic, known as the Crystalbrand Crisis, erupted when an artifact excavated from the depths of the Veilspires destabilized. This magical anomaly caused rapid crystallization of the landscape around it, endangering cities and disrupting leyline connections. The Order of the Eternal Flame and the Starlight Circle collaborated to contain the crisis, but not before it reshaped parts of the realm and influenced new safety protocols for handling powerful relics.
