In a final attempt to reclaim control over arcane forces destabilized by The Shattering, the Ivory Circle and a coalition of elven leyline masters performed a massive ritual called the Binding of the Moon-Spires. This effort involved erecting towering obsidian structures aligned with the major leyline nodes, which would anchor and regulate the flow of arcane energy. The ritual stabilized many areas but inadvertently imbued the Moon-Spires with mysterious sentient qualities, sparking debates over whether they were allies, tools, or harbingers of something greater.
