Eidolon Bloodline

Sorcerer subclass

Your innate magic arises from a pact with a powerful otherworldly entity -- an Eidolon -- that dwells within your soul. You channel its essence to summon a fragment of its power, which manifests as a loyal combatant and conduit for your spells. Over time, your bond deepens, allowing you to merge with your Eidolon temporarily or unleash devastating arcane synergies.

Eidolon Companion

At 1st level, as a bonus action, you summon your Eidolon, a Medium spectral entity of your choice (celestial, elemental, or fey) within 10 feet. It uses the Eidolon Companion stat block (below), acts on your turn, and obeys your mental commands. If it drops to 0 HP, it vanishes, and you can't summon it again until you finish a long rest or expend 3 sorcery points. You can dismiss it as a bonus action.

Eidolon Companion
AC: 13 + your proficiency bonus
HP: 5 + five times your sorcerer level
Speed: 30 feet, fly 30 feet (hover) if celestial; 30 feet, burrow 20 feet if elemental; 40 feet, climb 30 feet if fey
Damage Immunities: Chosen type (radiant/fire/poison)
Attack: Melee spell attack, + (Proficiency Bonus + Charisma modifier) to hit. Hit: 1d8 + your Proficiency Bonus force damage.

Symbiotic Spellcraft

Starting at 6th level, when your Eidolon hits a creature, you can use your reaction to cast a spell targeting that creature without expending a spell slot. Once used, you can't do so again until you finish a short or long rest.

Eidolon's Aegis

At 14th level, as a reaction when you take damage, your Eidolon vanishes and shield you, reducing the damage by 3d10 + your Charisma modifier. If this reduces the damage to 0, your Eidolon remains summoned; otherwise, it disappears. You can't use this feature again until you finish a long rest.

Apotheosis Bond

At 18th level, you merge with your Eidolon for 1 minute (once per long rest). You gain a flying speed of 60 feet, resistance to all damage except force, and your spells of 5th level or lower deal maximum damage. When the effect ends, your Eidolon disappears and can't be summoned for 1d4 days.
